Chateaugay Weaving and Woodworking
A life-long woodworker, Mick Jarvis took his first Adirondack pack basket class in 2000. Originally a jnior high social studies teacher with a keen interest in history and an avid outdoorsman, he has blended those interests and experiences to create a unique variety of quality hand-crafted products.
Woven items include various sizes of packbaskets, pine lid fishing creels and other baskets. Wooden pieces include lamps, clocks and small pine cabinets. Each piece is carefully created by hand in his home workshop, gaining its own personality as it takes its final form.
