Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY)

Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people understand and appreciate the folk traditions and local culture of everyday life in the North Country. The organization sponsors special workshops, demonstrations and events. They also operate the North Country Folkstore, which includes products from across the North Country that are made in a traditional way, including: beeswax candles, Amish products, birchbark and Adirondack style furniture, sweetgrass baskets, quilts and much more.
