VanBeads Jewelry and Designs
According to her mother, Jennifer VanBenschoten started playing iwth beads when she was 4 years old. All throughout highschool, she made jewelry for family and freinds, and while in college, taught herself how to do off-loom bead weaving using just a needle, thread and tiny seed beads.
Jennifer's work ranges from modern to classic. Her desings usually incoproate items from the natural world - seashells, stones, coral and leaves made from precious metal clay. She has received several awards for her bead embroidered neckpieces and beaded gemstone cabochons at areas shows and fairs. In 2005, she had two original beaded jewelry desings published in Beadwork Magazine. She is also a contributing author to a publication on how to become a jewelry designer.
